We stand with our colleagues and friends in Philadelphia and around the country and world whose voices have been silenced and marginalized and whose lives and the lives of those they love have been so negatively impacted because of the color of their skin.
We need to validate the voices of the Black community and all people of color. We pledge to use our voices and our work to influence change to create a community and a world where all people are safe, protected and welcome. We ask all to join us, especially our white colleagues and friends, to work to identify where we are complicit in systems that perpetuate racism and to change those systems to be ones that uphold all humans as beautiful and precious
