Strategy Arts strongly condemns the insurrection that occurred in Washington this week. The mob participants and organizations that stand behind them must be held accountable for this attempted coup. The lack of response by police and government officials is a blatant display of white nationalism. We cannot stand by:
• We must publicly condemn and confront white supremacy.
• We must work together in the B Corp and wider business community to address the systemic inequities fueled by white nationalism that emboldened a majority white mob to breach the Capitol unchecked.
• We must dismantle white supremacy that is inherent in our systems to include our business practices, policies, and procedures that repress Black, Indigenous and marginalized peoples.
• We will not deflect or diminish racial motivations on display with excuses by recognizing the racist motivations of fellow whites, and finding the courage to voice values in places that have given racist ideas and sympathies safe haven.
Strategy Arts will maintain our commitment to supporting racial justice and dismantling systemic racism and white supremacy. We will work together with our fellow B Corps and other businesses and organizations to be a force for good.
